Instructions for BMW Navigation Map Update

Insert the 32 GB USB preloaded with Map Data in the car and the screen will automatically prompt you to start the Map Update.

 

Now from instructions using iDrive Controller select ” Start Update”

 

The instructions on the screen will request you to introduce the FSC Code to complete the Map Update. Enter the 20 Digits FSC Code by Using iDrive Controller.

 

Select ” OK ” to verify your FSC Code. The system will verify and start loading Map Data.

You can resume your driving journey as the basic functions of the navigation system will continue to operate normally. 

Please don’t unplug the USB until Map Update is completed.

Don’t turn off the car till Map Update is done. After successfully loading the Map Data, the system will automatically reboot. 

And so Map Update process is completed and you are good to go now.
